Doyle & The Fourfathers

Doyle & the Fourfathers is a band I discovered yesterday evening while listening to Shell Zenner on Bolton FM!!!

 Doyle & The Fourfathers is:
William Doyle  who's the lead singer and play the acoustic guitar
Ben Clark  who plays electric guitar, harmonica, casio, vibraphone and other stuff.
Michael Goozee who plays the bass.
Alex Urch at the Drums.

They come from Southampton and formed the band in September 2009. They describe their music as Alternative Pop but I would add that they're also Folky Pop and Rock. They use to find inspiration in the music of the last 60 years that's why you can find all sort of genre.

In 2010, the band played during the 'Save 6 Music' Protest gig at the 229 Club in London and also played a live seesion for Marc Riley on his BBC 6 music show.

They released a first single in October 2010 as a7", cd and download and it's still available on itunes.
The Governor of Giving Up’  got plenty of play on BBC 6 Music  where Marc Riley described it as 'an absolute whopper' and of course on plenty of other stations.
The 1st album ' Made Man' has been released in 28 February of this year and you can buy it here

They're currently on tour and will be supporting The Undertones in December .

What can I wish them the most? Oh yeah... Coming to Paris.... ;)

You can find the band on their Facebook Page , Twitter page , Youtube Channel , Last.Fm Profile and of Course, on their official Website  where you can download several songs for free.
