Broken Hands is a very very very young band from Canterbury in England when I say very young, Im not only talking about their young age but more because they formed the band this year (2011), and in spite of that, they seems to already have a small celebrity!
I discovered them cos they were the support band of Band of Skulls during their last mini tour at the beginning of this month. I was quite impressed by their stage presence. They even seems to be loved by the whole audience which is quite unusual for a support band especially a young one.
Broken Hands is formed by:
Dale Norton at the Vocals Jamie Darby at the Guitar(and keyboard live) Thomas Ford at the Bass Callum Norton at the Drums
Their debut gig was at The Bull and Gate last August and was a sold out gig. Another proof of their little fame.
Broken Hands also run and are the brains behind cult Canterbury club night ‘Hoochie Coochie" which packs in both fans and friends alike, pulling hundreds of like minded people together to celebrate music, guest live acts and everything that is good about living !!! (words taken on their official Facebook).
If you registered at their official website you can have a free download of "What you've Taken" and of course be the 1st to hear about all their news/tour dates/merch, etc.....
