The Screening Live at 100Club!

First of all, Im sorry, Im late for this review BUT I have a life and I needed the setlist to write this....OK I know false and ridiculous excuse!!!! :p

On Thursday the 28th of July, the BRILLIANT band The Screening have played the famous 100 Club  in London and "Oh my, I was so lucky", it was during the first week of my holidays so I could be there!!!
And as I was lucky on that day, on my way to the club, my friend and I met Mark Stoermer ! (if you don't know who he is, Mark is the bassist in the band The Killers!!!)

So, I had the chance to discovered that famous club and (despite the fact that there was reall room for the bands in the "backstage"), this club is quite nice and full of pictures of the artists that played there and  wow lots of huge artists!

The 1st artist to come on stage this day was James Page, a young singer/songwriter from Cambridge who came with lots of fans (One (a man) was a little bit scary as he seems really in love with him!!! ;p), followed by Marines a nice little band from Suffolk, then on 3rd,we could hear the most fabulous band in the Leicestershire (WHAT????? ;p) The Screening, followed by Violet Bones and the only thing I remember about this band was the blue shoes and the really skinny jeans of the singer and the fact that he went into the crowds at the end and asked to the photographers to come on stage, and Hans Commission have finish the gig but.... I haven't listen to them... (sorry)

So The Screening came on stage and.... I was happy!!!! This was the 1st time I could see Amy on stage with the guys so I was quite impatient. And as usual, they did really well!
They begin the set with "Drop That Bomb", followed by the brilliant "You Look Much Better In The Dark" where the public suddenly woke up! Then, came the new "Colour", I won't say "I love this song" even if I do... "Red Room" was the next one, I didn't know that song (or didn't remembered it! aah) BUT i like Tom Lewitt's backing vocal on it... The next one was a song I really love but in its original version " Throught My Telescope", they know play it in a reggae version, which is so different of the original, this is an absolute new kind of music in their set! The following one was the beautiful song you could find on the cd they released for The Harley Staples Cancer Trust, this song is called "Light Show" and well, if you don't have a tear in your eye, you're not human! :) . They continued with the new new new song "She's The One" where you can the skill of Amy with her keyboards! They finally finished their set with the famous "Diem", this song is so brilliant that you can't take it off your head after one listen!

Well, in conclusion of this rubbish review you will of course understand that YES, I really LOVE that band and Im glad that they've added a new member and "oh Joy", it's a girl with skill!!! If one day, you see that "The Screening" are playing in your area, PLEASE go and tell me about it!!! Im sure you won't be disappointed!!!!

To finish, I'll post some of my pics of that night....
